GRAND CANYON, Ariz., Dec. 21. —New searching parties traversed the winding Grand Canyon of the Colorado today in quest of Glenn Hyde and his wife, honeymooning explorers, who disappeared after attempting to traverse the canyon in a home-made scow. The first note apprised the party of the location of the boat, and the second was dropped so the Hydes, if they are in that vicinity, could know rescue is near. Searchers believed that Hyde and his wife abandoned the boat and now are trying to make their way to civilization through Diamond Canyon, a lateral gorge which leads to Peach Springs, Ariz. Hutton Stanley, wife of the Rev. James D. Stanley, former rector of Christ Episcopal chruch, word of whose death in New York, Wednesday has been received here, will be held at Richmond, Ind., at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the home of
Howard Dill, a nephew, with burial there. Mrs. Stanley was born in Richmond, the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Jesse M. Hutton, pioneers in that city. She was educated and traveled widely abroad.
She came here in 1898 with the Rev. Mr. Stanley and during the twenty-six years that he served Christ church, Mrs. Stanley took an active part in the religious and cultural activities of the city. She was a member of the Propylaeum,
Over the Tea Cup Club, Matinee Musicale, the Church Guild and other organizations. At the retirement of her husband they moved to New York and traveled extensively. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons,
