HOLD ORGANIST FORJGAMY First Wife Attends Second Wedding. By United Press NEW YORK, Dec. 6.—Herbert J. Leigh-Manuell, organist in St. Anne's Protestant Episcopal church at Sayville, L. 1., was married Wednesday and was arrested for the marriage. For ten years Leigh-Manuell has lived presumably with his wife and three children at Sayville. Then he confided to the woman who supposedly was Mrs. LeighManuell that he was in love with 19-year-old Martha Van Weyn, a music student he had instructed. “Mrs. Leigh-Manuell” went to the Van Weyn home, had the girl leave with her on the pretext of going to the dentist, and then served as matron of honor at the church wedding of Leigh-Manuell and the girl. In applying for the license LeighManuell had described himself as single. Deputy sheriffs arrested LeighManuell Wednesday night. Everett C. Petty, investigator for the district attorney of Suffolk county, said he learned LeighManuell and his first wife were married in Wesley-Hale, Cornwall, England, in 1915, and that they never had been divorced.

"My skin is as clear as a baby’s and as smooth too. Not a sign, of those ugly pimples, and rough spots 'which used to worry me until I would rather stay to myself than go out where anybody could see me. "I used to brood over my predicament and wonder if I would ever have the beautiful complexion so many of my friends have. Now, it is all so simple I can hardly believe that my skin once gave me so many heartaches. "It was just a piece of luck. Seems more like a dream. I heard of a woman who told how she began taking this new medicine called Husky for her stomach, and to her great surprise it rounded out her sunken cheeks and cleared her skin of- the pimples she had. That was like a message from the fairies for me. I have been taking Husky ever since, and I never go anywhere but what people ask me how I keep my complexion so beautiful." Pimples, rash, and the common skin troubles which ruin complexions, are nothing more than signs that your system is not getting rid of the excessive acidity which souring food generates on your stomach. It must get out, and the pores of the skin are the only other way when your kidneys and bowels fail. By taking Husky you sweeten your stomach; stimulate the kidneys and bowels; the food you e'at supplies the blood with the necessary red corpuscles, brings up vitality, and the miracle of a transformed person is complete. All drug stores sell Husky.

CONFESSES TO FURNACE DEATH TO OTE KIN’ Prisoner Denies Guilt, but Must Face Other Charges in Lake Forest. By United Press SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Dec. 6. After repudiating his "confession that he burned Miss Elfrieda KnaaL in the Lake Bluff (111.) police station Ezra McVeigh alias James Kelley, today was on the way back to Lake Forest, 111., to face a charge of slugging a school teacher. “I have accomplished my purpose,” McVeigh said as he left here. "I’ve brought all the disgrace I can on my brother and aunt ” McVeigh said his relatives would not take him into their home some time ago when he had suffered a nervous breakdown. Instead he said, they had him committed to an asylum. “I’ve got my revenge, I’m satisfied,” he said. He did not deny, however, that he slugged Miss Edna Kelly, Lake Forest school teacher. He is being taken back to face trial by Lester Tiffany, Lake Forest chief of police. The prisoner’s repudiation did not shade Tiffany’s opinion that McVeigh knows too much about the basement of the Lake Bluff police station where Miss Knaak was burned. Tiffany said that the suspect described details of the basement that could not have been gained by reading newspapers.
