State bank of Carmel, was returned to Noblesville today to face blackmail charges. Hessong was arrested at Akron, 0., where he confessed writing notes demanding a total of $3,000 from the three men and threatening them and their families with death if he did not receive the money. Jack Montgomery, another Carmel youth, implicated by Hessong, also is charged with blackmail in connection with the case. He denied knowledge of Hessong’s alleged blackmailing activities. He is at liberty under $3,000 bond.
