NIGHT WORLD QUEEN'S DEATH STUMPSPDLICE Quiz Horse Trader, Baker in Murder of Woman With Three Names. By United Press NEW YORK, Oct. 19.—More than forty-eight hours after the murder of Mrs. Alta Bonello in her apartment at Sunnyside, Queens, a horse trader and an obsecure baker were the only persons who could furnish information about the woman who lived under three names and apparently was an important figure in New York’s underworld. Louis Seiner, the horse dealer, and Joseph Fox. the baker, are being held in default of SIO,OOO bail today because they volunteered to supply facts about Mrs. Bonello, who was found slashed and beaten to death at dawn Wednesday. Husband in Jail Seiner revealed that Mrs. Bonello formerly lived in Allegheny, Pa. There she was known as Lottie Brewer. Along Broadway, where was a hostess in a night club, the woman was Aluta Bonello and in the exclusive suburb of Sunnyside she was Mrs. S. C. Wolch. Through the office of District Attorney Richard B. Newcombe Thursday, there passed a stream of men and women prominent in night life. They were asked questions about Mrs. Bonello—where she came from, who her friends were and what possible motive there might have been for her murder. All of them either couldn’t or wouldn't answer. Tony Bonello, husband of the dead woman, is in a Kansas City jail awaiting trial on a charge of being involved in the robbery of the Home Trust Company there, during which patrolman “Happy” Smith was slain by the bandits. Detective Walked Street Police throughout the country are on the watch today for Sammy Stein, gunman and gangster, who is wanted on a charge of participating in the Kansas City holdup. New York authorities believe Mrs. Bonello was killed because she knew too much about the murder of the policeman. It was brought out today that the murder wsa one of the most skillful ever committed here for a detective was pacing the sidewalk in front of the Bonello home when
