SKIP-STOP PLAN TO BEJTUDIED Service Commission Will Consider Proposal. Possibility of skip-stop street car service for East Washington St., will be investigated by the public service commission, Commissioner Howell Ellis announced at the close of oral argument and public hearing on petition for such service Thursday. The petition was filed by Grant A. Karns nad signed by nearly 700 Irvington residents. Under the plan the E. Washington cars would loop in the downtown district and rotary skips would be made every three blocks. The cars would be labeled with colors, such as red, white and blue and the place of stopping would be designated by the appropriate color painted on posts. Superintendent James P. Tretton of the Street Railway said he favored separation of East and West Washington lines, was and would favor skip-stops if it would save time and avoid complaints, but that it proved not to be the case when tried during the war period. John G. Gray presented a plea that the S. Audubon car service not be abandoned. ACCUSED OF ATTACK ON COUNTY OFFICIAL Muncie Man Faces Trial at Tipton Saturday. B, Times Special TIPTON, Ind., Oct. s.—Clyde Roach, Muncie, will be tried here Saturday on charges of attacking R. M. Montgomery, Tipton County 'prosecutor, in his office recently. CLEAN KIDNEYS BY DRINKING LOTS OF WATER Take Salts to Flush Kidneys if Bladder Bothers or Back Hurts Eating too much rich food may produce kidney trouble in some form, says a well-known authority because the acids created excite the kidneys. Then they become overworked, get sluggish, clog up and cause all sorts of distress, particularly backache and misery in the kidney region, rheumatic twinges, severe headaches, acid stomach, constipation, torpid liver, sleepless-* ness, bladder and urinary irritation i The moment your back hurts or kidneys aren’t acting right, or if bladder bothers you, begin drinking lots of good water and also get j about four ounces of Jad Salts from any good pharmacy; take a tablespoonful in a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and your kidneys may then act fine. This famous salt sis made from the acid of grapes and lemcn juice, combined with lithia, and has been used for i years to flush clogged kidneys and i stimulate them to activity; also to neutralize the acids in the system \ so that they no longer irritate, thus j often relieving bladder disorders. Jad Salts can not injure any one; 1 makes a delightful effervescent j lithia-water drink which millions of men and women take now and then j to help keep the kidneys and urinary organs clean, thus often avoiding serious kidney disorders.—Advertisement.
