Theaters Campaign Progresses OPENED with official indorsement of tne Chamber of Commerce fine arts committee; representative of business men of Indianapolis, clery and heads of the educational institutions, the membership campaign of the Indianapolis Little Theatre, which was inaugurated last Monday, has made gratifying progress during its first week acording to Mrs. George T. Parry, executive chairman of the drive for 1,000 new members. Initial activities of the drive included a mass meeting at the Playhouse, Nineteenth and Iv Alabama Sts., last Monday night, of all those participating in the campaign; a tea Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. William Henry Cobum for all interested in Litle Theatre activities; a radio program, uroadcast Wednesday evening from station WFBM, under '"irectic”' of Mrs. E. K. Rider and a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce fine arts committee and the executive board of the drive, which consists of Mesdames George T. Parry, J. A. Goodman, Everett M. Schofield, Miss Anna Louise Griffith and Wallace O. Lee. Next week three-minute talks by members of the Indiapapolis Little Theatre will be made at all noon luncheon club meetings in order to acquaint as many people as possible with the value of the Little Theatre as a civic as well as artistic factor in the community. These talks are being sponsored by the fine arts committee, of which E. J. Wuensch is eating chairman, and by Edgar Hunter, Chamber of Commerce secretary.
