one cup sweet milk, one-half cup sugar, one-half teaspoon \ vanilla, lump butter size hickory nut, one tablespoon flour and nut meats. Slightly beat the egg yolks and add the flour and sugar making smooth paste, add milk, dates previously seeded and cut fine, vanilla, butter and chopped nut meats. Cook in double boiler until thick.
