AID TO GERMAN DEBT Nations Will Act to Clear Financial Situation. s By United Press PARIS, Sept. 17.—A move to extricate Germany from her financial d’.acuities, and perhaps settle the inter-allied debt question will be started within a month, the United Press was informed in official quarters today. The governments involved in the treaty of Versailles, including the United States and Germany, will be asked to prepare a final declaration of the lowest sum they will accept in full payment of their claims against Germany. At the *same time, the nations will be jtsked to name a committee of experts who will fix once and for all the total of Germany’s obligations and whether interest is to be paid thereon. That would subject all payments to date to complete revision. Death Notices CARROLL, ATHALIAH. MRS —233 Pulton, passed away Sat., Sept. 15th, 3 p. m.
