MR. RIPPLE IS ‘ STILL hi LARGE AND WORTH $25 Gold Waiting for Person Who Finds Mysterious Man at Park. Twenty-five dollars in gold is still Waiting for a taker. Mysterious Mr. Ripple, the elusive gentleman who invades Broad Ripple Park each night between 8 and >8:30, was at the park Sunday, but was not discovered by any of the 10,000 people at the grounds. He visited the band' concert in the picnic grove, strolled down to the bathing beach, and came back along the midway, covering most of the park. He thought he was being approached several times, but each time succeeded in losing himpelf in the crowd. To win the $25 in gold you must discover Mr. Ripple, come up to him, holding out the latest copy of The Indianapolis Times, and say: “Are you the mysterious Mr. Ripple who invades Broad Ripple Park and reads The Times daily?” Get out to the park tonight and vin the $25. It will be easy to loate the mysterious gentleman, for le is less than 6 feet tall, weighs less han 200 pounds, has hair which is leither red, nor black nor gray vears a No. 8 shoe, is smooth-shaven and will wear either a light or dark suit. Three convicts were killed and seven more were in serious condition in Houston hospitals today after-fifty-six men on Blue Ridge Prison farm No. 2 were trapped in a fire during a week-end movie at the farm. Elmer Clay, movie operator, had Just finished the third reel of a comedy when a truck driver from another prison farm, a visitor, lit a cigaret.
