THREE JUDGES ARE CLEAR OF LAXITYCHAROE f Chicago Committee Slaps State’s Attorney in Probe Report. Rn Uniter! Press CHICAGO, July 4.—Three judges of the Criminal Court, charged with being lax in their conduct of the bench by Frank J. Loesch, president of the Chicago Crime commission, were vindicated in a report returned by a court of inquiry. Loesch charged that Criminal Court Judges Emanuel Eller, Stanley Klarkowskim, and Otto Kerner had been placed on the benches over the protest of the Chicago Bar Association, that it was “politics in full swing” which placed them, and that the three had no regard for the law “which they have sworn to uphold.” A committee of six judges investigated the charges and its report yesterday vindicated the three. The report of the committee contained an accusation that the trouble, if any, lies at the State’s attorney’s office.
