Cheese Fondue One cup soft bread crumbs, one cup scalded milk, one-fourth pound grated cheese, one tablespoon but> ter, one-half teaspoon salt, three eggs. Beat egg yolks and mix with all ingredients. Fold in beaten whites and bake in buttered pan twenty minutes in moderate oven. LYNDOLL STALEY. 1046 S. Tremont St., city. Macaroni Loaf Mix one cup broken boiled macaroni with one cup cream, one cup bread crumbs, one-fourth cup butter, one teaspoon salt, one cup cheese, one chopped pimento and pepper. Line a quart baking dish with wax paper and pour in the mixture. Set in pan of water and bake in moderate oven. Serve hot with sauce of one cup milk, two tablespoons cornstarch, four tablespoons tomato catsup, lump butter and salt-pepper seasoning, unbeaten white on af egg. MRS. ETHEL BEAVER, R. R. L, Box 214, city. Shoe Strings Beat yolks of six fresh eggs with one-half pound sugar, two tablespoons orange-flower water and grated rind of one lemon. Beat well and gradually add six ounces flour, juice of one lemon,, and beaten whites of six eggs. Bake in shallow pan, cool, cut in strips and dust with sugar. MRS. C. W. RICHARDSON. 120 W.
