53-YEAR-OLD ROMANCE IN SIOO,OOO SOU ✓ Indiana Woman Seeks to Hold Estate of Ohio Man By Times Special LIBERTY, Ind., June 25.—A romance of fifty-three years ago is revealed in a suit being heard at Cincinati, Ohio, by which Mrs. Josephine Bevis of this city seeks to aetain SIOO,OOO of the estate of Allen L. Foster, who died in Cincinnati, Dec. 26, 1926. poster’s will revealed that most of his $154,000 estate was left to Mrs. Bevis, whom the document described as “my lifelong friend.’’ Several cousins of Foster, his nearest kin, attacked the will, resulting in the present trial. Thirteen lawyers are engaged in the case. Testimony has developed that Foster and Mrs. Bevins were sweets hearts when he was 23 and she 16. Owing to parental objections they never became man and wife. Mrs. Bevis was twice married and Foster was wed once, his wife having died several years ago. ACQUITTED MAN FLEES Defendant in Carroll County Murder Case Missing Bu Times Special DELPHI, Ind., June 25.—Lloyd Kimble, acquitted last December on a charge of murdering Daniel Sink, aged recluse, is missing, leaving behind his wife and five children. It is said Kimble fled in fear that he would be arrested on a prohibition law charge. A story by a young girl to Carroll County authorities that she had become intoxicated on liquor Kimble supplied, is believed to have been the specific event causing him to leave. Mrs. Kimble, said to be suffering from tuberculosis, has placed her children with relatives for care since the husband and father left.

They are set in a concrete base and when an automobile runs over a sign it will not cut tires but will flatten out. LABOR EXPERTS DEMOCRAT AID Leaders to Present Planks for Indorsement. By Times Special HOUSTON, Texas., June 25.—Organized labor expects favorable consideration for practically all of its proposed planks by the Democratic resolutions committee, according to Frank -Morrison, secretary of the American Federation of Labor. President William Green. Morrison, vice presidents, Matthew Woll and M. F. Ryan and James O’Connell, president of the metal trades department, constitute the federal tion’s representation here. Labor requests are expected to include planks for legislation to prevent the issuance of labor injunctions and to rehabilitate the coal industry. Indorsement of the antichild labor amendment, free speech safeguards, amendment of the Sherman anti-trust act, and continuation of a restrictive immigration, policy also will be advocated. SKYSCRAPER WILL RISE AROUND 'LOCKED' HOTEL Federal Injunction Bars Razing of Milwaukee Grillroom. | Bit United Press MILWAUKEE. .June 25.—Residents of this city soon may witness the buildjng of a skyscraper around a padlocked hotel grillroom after the rest of the old structure hao been razed. Federal Judge F. A. Geiger has ruled that although the remainder of the Lincoln Hotel might be torr down to make room for a nfcv. structure, the grill itself, must be left in position, untouched, due to the fact that it has been adlocked for violation of the prohibition act.
