July 5, 1928, by the Board of Trustees of the Central State Hospital, at their office. Central State Hospital, Indianapolis. Indiana, for the construction of an Infirmary Building, according to plans and specifications prepared by Adolf Scherrer, architect, Indianapolis, Indiana. . . Separate proposals will be received as follows: (1) General construction; 42) heating: (31 plumbing: <4l electric wiring. and (5) a combination proposal on items (2) and (3). The total estimated cost of the infirmary building is $95,000.00. Proposals shall be made on Form No. 96 prescribed by the State Board of Accounts and shall be accompanied by certified check for an amount equal to three (3) per cent of the total sum namd in the proposal. This check must be made payable to the Board of Trustees of the Central State Hospital and must be certified good by a bank or trust company of the State of Indiana, and in case any bidder, whose proposal shall be accepted, shall not within ten (10) days after notice of the acceptance of his proposal, enter Into a written contract with the Board of Trustees of the Central State Hospital and secure the contract by a surety bond in the amount of the contract price, and in form and with surety or sureties to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the Central State Hospital, then his ceritfied check and its proceeds shall be and remain the absolute property of the Board of Trustees of the Central State Hospital, as liquidated damages for such failure, and the bidder shall be liable for n,'thing beyond the proceeds of his certified check. Certified checks of unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them.
