VIOLIN and vocal numbers will intersperse the popular selections of the Phoenix Musical Maids, in the Phoenix Coffee hour to be radiocast over WFBM at 8 tonight. (The Maids will present “I’m More Than Satisfied,” “Ramona,” “Indian Dawn,” “That's My Mammy.” “Did iSfou BMan If*” “When You’”* 5 . With Somebody Else,” “Rio Rita,” “Old Guitar,” “It Was Only a Sun Shower” and “Make Believe You’re Happy.” The Nightingale Trio will sing Romberg’s “Silver Moon,” “Snowflakes,” by Cowen-Gaul; “The Lass {With the Delicate Hair,” “Southern Dullaby” and “Butterfly Waltz.” Parta Kennedy, Ethelowyn Arnhohlter and Bernice Church will be heard in vocal solos and duets. Victor Herbert’s “Serenade" and “Gypsy Love Song” will be heard as t Violin solos, played by Evelyn Nibo. A special arrangement of Hungarian Gypsy songs prepared by Director Gustav Haenschen for both orchestra and voice, will feature the program during the Palmolive hour to be broadcast over the NBC Red fietwork at 8 tonight. Paul Oliver, tenor, will be heard In “Ah, Moon of My Delight,” and, with Olive Palmer, will sing a tenorsoprano duet, “Road to Paradise” from “Maytime” and with one of the schoolgirl' contraltos, the grand opera selection “Home to Our Mountains,” from “II Trovatore.” The Palmolive Revelers will be heard in the old favorite quartet jmelodies “The Girl Friend” and “Little Cotton Dolly.” In addition there will be guitar and saxophone novelties as solos and with vocal ac•companiment. An innovation in the Bright Star , Battery program tonight at 7, over IWRNY, New York, will be the appearance of the famous Russian •poet and author, Philip M. Raskin, iWho will present readings from his own best known poems. It will be remembered that Mary aYid Bob left New York four months ago to tour the country in search of “truth that is stranger than fiction.” Traveling south along the Atlantic Coast, the cold months were spent in the southern States along the Gulf of Mexico, but with the coming of spring they started northward again along the Pacific coast into the northwest and are now headed east along the Canadian . border and down through Colorado, { where they will be found in this broadcast.

celebration of Baseball day in Hartford, Conn., when seven thousand boys parade through city streets to hear addresses by Judge Landis and both major league presidents, will be broadcast by stations associated with the NBC Red network. The date of this year’s celebration has been set for Saturday moyning, May 26. The parade of seven thousand schoolboys, all in baseball uniforms and marching to the music of a dozen bands, is scheduled to get under way shortly after 6 o’clock. The NBC network will be linkqd with station WTIC in Hartford from 7 to 9 a. m. for a description of the parade by Graham McNamee and Phillips Carlin and to broadcast the speeches by the baseball monarchs.
