Weber’s overture, “Euryanthe” will be played by the United States Navy Band during the program to be broadcast by WJZ, New York, and other Blue chain stations at 6 tonight, Tschaikowsky, Wagner and Gounod also are represented on the program. , Fourteen years ago when Miss Louise Hammond went to China as a missionary she adopted Chinese routine, ate Chinese food and dressed in Chinese clothes. Asa result she finds herself thinking much as Chinese think, and in her radio talk on “Home Life in China” over WMAQ, Chicago, at 7:25 tonight she will her subject not in a critical vein, but in the matter-of-fact way of a Chinese. Hans Bartfy American concert pianist, has selected a program from various masters, for his Sunday night recital at 5 over stations of the Red chain, including Beethoven, S humann and Chopin. Gounod’s "Sacred Heart Mass” again will be rendered in the Cathedral hour to be radiocast bsr the Columbia System at 2 Sunday afternoon. The program is composed mostly of Gounod numbers. “From the Land of the Sky Blue Water,” by Charles Cadman, will be played as a violin solo by Don Amaizo, violinist, during the program to be broadcast at 8:15 Sunday night through stations of the NBC Blue network.j
