HEBREWS WILL i OBSERVE FEAST • Services of Shabuoth to ( Start Next Week. Shabuoth—the Hebrew feast of the Pentecost—will be celebrated in local temples with vesper services fThursday evening, and confirmations at the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, Tenth and Delaware 6ts., Friday morning. Jewry throughout the nation will recall •the giving of the Ten Commandjnents at Mount Sinai, with impressive ceremonies. Shabuoth is one of the most joyful feasts of the Jewish calender, and in its commemoration the first harvest of the year played an important part. For this reason, the book of Ruth with its background in the harvest fields always is read. The confirmation service, part of the ceremony attendant on the feast in all Reformed congregations, is a solemn dedication of the young boys anfi girls to Judaism. The confirmation service marks culmination of the Sunday School training in the history and doctrines of the church. Rabbi Morris M. Feuerlicht will conduct the services Friday morning In the Indianapolis Temple.
