Hoover Not on Any Slate
The whole nation will be watching to see whether Indiana Republicans follow Ohio’s example in declaring political independence from corrupt machine control. Every Voter Tuesday is Important. The chief danger is from indifferent Republicans. If every Republican vote in Indiana were polled Tuesday, Hoover’s majority would be greater than his wonderful three-to-one victory in Ohio. Over there the people voted in spite of discouraging advantages held by the political machine. Hoover’s success in Indiana is assured if enough Republicans vote. Be yourself! Exercise your right to vote Tuesday.
Herbert Hoover’s name is not on any slate by authority. Voters should not be confused by slates or combinations of candidates that may contain Mr. Hoover’s name. The publication of fake slates is a favorite trick of professional politicians for the purpose of deceiving voters Just remember—Hoover is not in any combination gs candidates. Herbert Hoover is standing on his own.
