It is the twenty-second nogram of the current series and marks the end of four years of symphony on the air. Mendelssohn, whose "Midsummer Night’s Dream” was written when he was seventeen years old, is a particular favorite for spring programs because of the delicate, joyous quality of his music. His various moods are expressed In such songs appearing here as “Jagdlied” (Hunting Song), "Der Mond” (The Moon), "Allnachtlich in Traume” (All Night in Dreams), and "Auf Flugeln des Gesanges” (On Wings of Song). ‘The Arcadians,” a musical fantasy in three acts, will be presented as the feature of the Philco hour tonight over the NBC Blue network at 8 o’clock.
