LICENSE PLEA FAILS Glen Haven Firm May Lose; Realty License. !l ■ Timr-s Special LANSING, Mich.. March 31.—The . Glen Haven Cemetery Association j of Indianapolis, had failed today in it's efforts to dicker with the State of Michigan. The Indianapolis concern attempted to get the Michigan Securities Commission to agree to allow it to keep it's license to sell real estate in this State on a promise it would make no more sales, according to Emerson R. Boyles, Deputy Attorney General and mem- j ber of the commission. The answer! was a citation for the association j to appear here on April 11, to show j cause why it’s license should not be! revoked. The dicker effort came in a letter ; to James B. Hazen, Deputy Securi- j ties Commissioner, in reply to his! request to the Indianapolis concern ! to surrender it’s license voluntarily or face citation. The letter ignored the surrender point and attempted to make the agreement. This is the same type of verbal agreement, it is understood here, that Glen Haven made with the Indiana commission. Later, according to information here, Glen Haven officials I admitted they had been selling in . Indiana.
