FOUR HOLDUPS AREJIEPORTED Two Pedestrians, Motorist and Grocer Victims. Two pedestrians, a motorist and a grocer were victims of bandits Thursday night. Police believe that three of the holdups were made by the same gang riding in different automobiles. J. F. Vandivier, 1132 Ashland Ave., was robbed of $1 at the point of guns by two men who got out of an automobile that pulled to the curb at Eleventh St. and Ashland Ave. Bandits stopped Dr. Julio Farber, 1511 Park Ave., at Thirteenth St. and Park Ave., by jumping on the running board of his automobile. Farber carried no money. Fred Barnickol, Apt. 7, 1321 N. Meridian St., was walking near Fourteenth and Illinois Sts., when two men got out of an automobile that drew along side of him and attempted to hold him up. Barnickol

CHARGES (LAN BINDSOFFICIAL Lafayette Attorney Raps Prosecutor. By Times Special LAFAYETTE, Ind., March 30.—L. H. Davison, Tippecanoe County prosecuting attorney, is bound by a Ku Klux Klan oath not to prosecute a fellow member. This charge was made in the course of an argument in Circuit Court here in the case of the State vs. J. M. McWilliams, former treasurer of the defunct People's Loan and Trust Company. He is charged with perjury. Accusation of the prosecutor was made by E. Burleigh Davidson, special prosecutor, in u statement to Special Judge B. B. Berry, which resulted in the court ruling against the prosecutor after Davidson declared the official refused to turn over to him a transcript of evidence taken before the grand jury which indicted McWilliams.
