HOUSE PASSES BILL TO PROVIDE NAVAL FUNDS Clears Appropriations Calendar of All but One Measure. r>i I nitrd l J rrt* WASHINGTON. March 23.—The House cleared its calendar of all the annual appropriations bills, except, one, today when it sent to the Senate the $339,000,000 Navy Department bill passed Tuesday. Os the regular supply measures, only the legislative establishment bill, providing funds for Congress itself, remains to be acted upon by the House. One or two deficiency bills will be brought in later as usual, including one providing $2,750,000 for maintaining United States marines in Nicaragua. Navy of 83,250 Men - Tire Navy Department bill carried $48,000,000 for continuing work on eight cruisers and two submarines; $31,000,000 for aviation; $1,800,000 ior beginning work on two dirigibles, and $6,075,000 for modernizing the battleships Arizona and Nevada. Tire measure provides for a naval personnel of 83.250 men. Navy aeronautical engineers totla;' were drafting new advertisements for bids for construction of two new dirigibles of 6.000,000 cubic feet each. Secretary of Navy Wilbur ordered the airships readvertised after a controversy over the original bids had been arisen in Congress. It was said that an offer of Brown-Boveri Company of Camden, N. J.. to bid on the ships had caused reopening of the subject. Tilt Over Dirigibles pongress had authorized the construction of two large dirigibles at a maximum cost of $8,000,000. The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Akron, Ohio, pro Dosed to construct both ships for $8,000,000, but refused to build one dirigible for less than $5,000,000. This bid. the only one received when the ships were first advertised, precipitated a tilt in Congress and brought out the Brown-Boveri bid of $4,000,000 for a single dirigible. Previously, it had been generally assumed that the Goodyear concern, winner of the design competition, would receive the contract. FORMER HOOSIER KILLED Theodore J. Bad Way to Feel In the Morning Lizzy Sensation, Disagreeable Taste, Pain and Other Symptoms Disappeared After Use of Black-Draught. “I used to suffer quite a bit from dizziness when I would get up in the morning,” says Mrs. I. Brakefield of Calhoun, S. C., in telling of her use of Thedford’s BlackDraught. "I would feel tired and have a bad taste in my mouth. I would be dizzy, and every little while I felt like I must sit down. “I had a pain in my side and an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. I just did not feel good at all. “Someone recommended BlackDraught to me and said it might help me. That was two years ago. I took a few doses and it did help me wonderfully. “I now use it when I have that tired, ‘all-gone’ feeling, and it is simply fine. “I can recommend Black-Draught and do so all the time. It certainly stops the dizziness, and after taking a few doses, I enjoy my food and feel just fine. My husband takes Black-Draught, too, and gets good results from it.” Get a package of Black-Draught today, and try it. Sold everywhere. In two sizes, 25 cents and sl.
