A Hungarian theme, the “Rackoczy March” by Berlioz will open the concert which will include selections from other masters. The complete program of this broadcast follows: Rackoczy March from ‘'Damnation of Faust" Berlioz Funeral March from "Symphony No. 3 In E-Flai," Beethorven "L'Arlesienne Suite No. 1” Bizet “Slavonic Dances" Dvorak Vice President Charles G. Dawes Will be heard by the radio audiences es WOR and six other stations on the night of Saturday; Feb. 18, beat 10:05 o’clock. The occasion will be the national commander’s dinner of the American Legion at the Mosque in Newark when he will speak on “The Relation of Military and Business Principles in War.” While it is not known definitely by American Legion officials, it is their belief that General Dawes will have something to say about the Universal Military Service bill, prepared and introduced in Congress at the instance of the American Legion and which is now' before the House Committee on Military Affairs. The purpose of this bill is to unite the nation for concerted action in a business-like manner in the event of war. The associated stations which will broadcast Vice President Dawes’ speech in the hook-up with WOR are WCAU, Philadelphia: WJAS, Pittsburgh: WAOC, Akron; WEAN, and WFBL, Syracuse.

The second appearance of the “Meistersingers” before the WOR microphone is scheduled for 7:15 toriight when a diversified program ranging from the classics and ballads to hits from musical show’s will be presented. This vocal ensemble consists of two tenors, two baritones and two bassos with a soprano and contralto. As in their previous performances, the “Meistersingers" will have no announcements between numbers but w'ill bridge the intervals by vocal modulations. 'Nobody Knows" (Spiritual). •‘Belts of St. Marv." v ß“l!elu!ah" ("Hit the Deck”). •"When Day Is Done." “Prize Song” Wagner “Princess Pat,” a comic opera in three acts, with Jessica Dragonette, soprano, in the leading role, will be broadcast as the Philco hour feature through the NBC Blue network from WJZ, New York, at 8 tonight. This opera, which will be presented under the direction of Harold Sanford, was first produced in New York in 1915. The book and lyrics were'written by Henry Blossom, and the music by Victor Herbert. Stations in the hook-up are listed in Dial Twisters. The New York Chamber Music Society, founded by Carolyn Beebe in 1914 and consisting of eleven artists of international reputation, is to be heard by radio listeners for the first time when the organization goes cn the air through the NBC red network at 9 tonight. This organization is a group of solo artists of equal importance and is reported to be the largest ensemble of its kind in the world. The initial program will include several selections which were prepared especially for this organization and which had their first performances by it. One of these is a selection from Deems Suite: “Through the Looking Glass,” which had its premiere performance on the part of the New York Chamber of Music Society in 1919.
