Those qualifying will be trained to appear with the choir at the all-opera program to be given at the Murat Theater on April 23. Resignation of Mrs. Vivian H. Greene as executive secretary of the Indianapolis Travelers’ Aid Society was presented at the quarterly meeting of the society, Monday, at the Columbia Club. A successor has not been chosen. Liberty St., was treated at city hospital today for injuries suffered Monday when he was struck by an automobile driven by Elza Montgomery, Negro, 1321 Cornell Ave., in the 300 block on E. Washington St. Charles Powell, 29, of 1133 Oliver Aev„ was en route to Stanton, Ky„ today to face a charge of bank robbery. Local police arrested him on Monday on a fugitive charge. David D. Morris, chief florist of Indianapolis city parks, will be the principal speaker at the spring garden flower planning meeting of the Garden Flower Society of Indianapolis, to be held in Cropsey auditorium of the Central Library at 8 p. m. Wednesday. Prof. George W. Starr, director of the Indiana University Bureau of Research, will speak on “Research in Business Considered From an Accounting Standpoint,” at the monthly dinner meeting of the National Association of Cost Accountants at the Chamber of Comm:rce at 6:30 p. m., Wednesday. Accountants and executives from manufacturing concerns of Indianapolis and neighboring cities will join in an open forum on the subject. WHITE ARMY IS TOPIC The Rev. H. C. Bobblitt to Tell of Experiences In Russia. The Rev. Henry C. Bobblitt, pastor of the Linwood Christian Church, will tell of his experiences with the “White” army of General Denikine in its campaign in Siberia against the Bolsheviki at the father-and-son banquet of the Sec. ond Reformed Church in the church hall at Wright and Weghorst Sts. Arrested on a traffic ordinance violation, Miss Millage was given the choice of paying 15 cents or kissing the prosecutor. she chose the kisses.
