Opening with an andante, the program will proceed with Dales’ “English Dance,” “Pleading” by Williams, “Lullaby” by Cyril Scott, “Will-O’-the-Wisp” by Reeve, and “Nocturne” and ‘Portrait of a Dance in Red” by Besly. Song hits of the past twenty years will be featured at KOA, Denver, tonight at 9. These will all be popular songs, not the classics. “Alexander’s Ragtime Band,” the grand old song recently revived by Ted Lewis, will have to be in such a program. Others to be given, such as “Margie” and “Jada,” are really hoary with age for popular songs even though it seems but yesterday we all sang them.
