GOOD WILL IS URGED AS OASIS FORJNDUSTRY Employers Hear Discussion of Human Relations by Studebaker Official. “You can buy a man's physical and mental energy to that degree necessary for him to hold his job, but you can’t buy his good will, and good will is the basis on which a successful industry must be founded.” With this admonition. Dr. Charles A. Lippincott of South Bend, manager of the Studebaker Corporation’s industrial relations department, told members and guests of the Associated Employers of Indianapolis at a banquet in the Columbia Club Tuesday night, how good will may be built up and maintained. Three hundred and fifty persons, including members of the Foremen’s Club and business, professional and civic leaders, heards the address. Advocating good wages for honest work, satisfactory working conditions and prompt settlement of grievances. Dr. Lippincott declared: “Whenever labor organizations try to limit output, they are making a fundamental mistake for themselves. Such a policy increases costs and decreases interchange of products, working injury to producer and employe alike. “If workmen are educated in the problems of their employer they will understand that competition, cost of raw materials and other factors enter into wages.” Andrew J. Allen, executive secre-ta*-y and manager of the Employers’ Association, presented his annual report. He depicted the civic value of industrial peace. Dick Miller, Chamber of Commerce president, announced an Indianapolis Civic Day luncheon for Feb. 13 at the Claypool when 700 luncheon club member will attend. Employers’ association directors will elect officers Wednesday, it was announced.

statements are from Indianapolis residents alone. Many appear in the papers day after day, but it is impossible to publish them all. There is only one reason for the great success of Konjola—and that is merit. This medicine actually is helping thousands in this vicinity. Konjola acts upon the inner system (stomach, liver, kidneys and bowels). It cleanses and invigorates these organs of the system to better activity, thus bringing new feelings of health over the body in general. One of the latest Indianapolis residents to indorse Konjola is Mrs. Etta Burris, address 634 North Capitol Ave., this city. Her report was given to the Konjola Man in person at the Hook Drug Store. Illinois and Washington Sts., Indianapolis, where he is meeting large crowds daily. ‘‘l willingly indorse Konjola as a wonderful health-builder,” said Mrs. Burris. ‘‘lt is restoring my health after all other remedies failed. While I am not well yet, I have received so much benefit that I feel it is my duty to tell others. Mine was a case of nervous prostration. At times I would feel as though someone would grab me and murder me. People who have never been in such a condition cannot begin to realize what my condition really was. At times I was so nervous that it seemed that my breathing would be stopped. I was unable to work at any kind of work for over a year. During that time I spent fifteen weeks in a' hospital. I also had severe pains in the stomach, which was so terrible I could hardly stand them. I was also constipated and was very dizzy. ‘‘l began taking Konjola and although it worked very slowly in my case, I gradually became stronger and today I came to town, something I have been unable to do for five weeks. I am improved in general and am still taking Konjola, believing that it wili in time restore me to perfect health. The benefit I derived through use of it already means much to me and I highly recommend it to others.” The Konjola Man is at the Hook Drug Store, Illinois and Washington Sts., Indianapolis, where he is daily meeting the public and introducing and explaining the merits of this remedy.—Advertisement.
