LIMIT LOADS OF TRUCKS ON STATEJOADS Restrictions Are Put in Foroe to Save Gravel and Stone Surfaces. Load restrictions are in force to save gravel and stone surfaces the State highway department bulletin announces today. They will be lifted as soon as the roads are frozen again and heavy hauling should be done at that time, Director John D. Williams declared. He thanked the trucking interests of the State for cooperation in this matter thus far this winter. Several detours and bridge runarounds were recorded as abolished in the bulletin which gave road conditions as follows: Rd. I—Good stone surface from F,d. SO to four miles north of Milan; avoid to Rd. 46. Rd. 3—Bridge run-arounds one mile and four miles south of Ft. Wayne. Detour around grading three miles north of Muncie. Rd. 6—ls flood waters or ice covered road there wUI be a four-mile detour one-half mile west of Brimfleld. Rd. 7—One-way traffic bridges eight miles and ten miles north of Madison. Rd. 27 Cut Off Rd. 9—Run-around via Mt. Etna. In case of high water or ice a detour will'be marked at one quarter mile west of Brimfleld. U. B. Rd. 20—Detour starting at one miles east of La Grange to Brushy Prairie is narrow. U. S. Rd. 24—Short detour in Kentland. Detour just east of Huntington. U. S. Rd. 27—Bridge run-arounds south of Portland and one mile south of Lynn. Traffic use cut off between Lynn and Fountain City. Short detour one mile 3outh of Lynn. Bridge run-around three miles north of Richmond. Detbur two and onetenth miles south of Richmond. Rd. 29—Run-around just north of intersection of Rds. 29 and 26. Good threemile detour while widening road for two miles north of Burlington. Bridge runaround five miles north of Knox. Detour from two miles north of La Pofte to junction of Rd. 20. U. S. Rd. 30—Short detour in Plymouth. U. S. Rd. 31—When new grade at eleven miles north of Kokomo is soft, traffic use the temporary run-around. Bridge runaround one mile north of Peru.
