“Bonbon and Bonbonette” Is a children's book of light, alfy verse. Through it is woven an interesting story of Bonbon and Bonbonette, the little candy children. Their fanciful adventures are so interestingly told that each of the children who are lucky enough to have it to read find many special heart throbs while themselves living the incidents of the story. This enthralling verse was written by Mildred Plew and has been printed in a little larger book than either of the other two offered. However the old story that often has been told about all work and no play apparently applies to ants as well as human beings. In this story Blanche Elizabeth Wade tells of one that became discontented and started out on a trip of many adventures that thrill the little tot from the very start. The many illustrations in black and white and in color are done by Harrison Cady. The book is cloth bound and has 225 pages, each being 5x7 inches in Size.
