SALE OF SEALS GIVEN SUPPORT IN DISEASE WAR Parent-Teacher Groups to Lend Impetus to Drive for Health. Sale of Christmas Seals in Marion County today was given impetus, when the Federation of ParentTeacher Associations of Indianapolis and the Marion County Council of Parent-Teacher Associations pledged support. Letters urging local associations to discuss anti-tuberculosis work of the Marion County Tuberculosis Association and anti-tuberculosis work financed through Christmas Seals were sent all local parentteacher organizations in Marion County. Radio became a factor in the campaign Wednesday night, when Dr. Herman G. Morgan, secretary of the city health board, broadcast the first 6f a series of health education talks over WFBM.

A letter sent to local parentteacher associations said: “Believing that without health no child can be wholly joyous, the par-ent-teacher associations of the city and county this year are lending their strength to support the annual sale of Christmas seals, being carried on by the Marion County Tuberculosis Association.” Morgan Pleads for Aid In his radio address Thursday Dr. Morgan said: of the important advancements made in this campaign and one which has shown results in prevention and cure of many other diseases, as well as tuberculosis, has been stressing by the Tuberculosis Association, in cooperation with other official health agencies, such as our own city board of health, of the necessity for examination by your own physician.
