An hour of dance music consisting entirely of selections which have been requested by members of the radio audience, played by Irwin Abrams and his Hotel Manger Orchestra, will be broadcast by the N. B. C. through WJZ, New York, tonight at 9:30. Orchestra numbers to be included ere “By the Waters of Minnetonka,” “Shaking the Blues Away,” from the current “Ziegfeld Follies,” a portion of George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and “Charin aine.” This program will be broadcast direct from the Moorish Grill of the Hotel Manger, Broadway and Fifteenth St., New Y6rk. Emily Roosevelt, distinguished soprano, will be the soloist in a Lieder Musicale with the Wurlitzer as accompaniment, over WOR, New York-Newark, at 8 tonight. Selections of Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn and Wagner will be combined in a representative Lieder program.
