Did you ever caress a person with a real case of halitosis (unpleasant breath)? Torture may not be the right word—but it’t close to it. * * * The one way to avoid such offense is to rinse the mouth with Listerine every day, and especially before meeting others. Immediately, Listerine removes every trace of unpleasant odor. Don’t fool yourself that you never have halitosis. Due to modern habits, it is all too common. Write for free book of etiquette. FORD PLANES TRANSFER HUGE FREIGHTJ.OADS Craft Fly Distance Equal to 27 Times Round Globe in 30 Months. Bit Times Bvecial DETROIT, Sept. 23.—Airplanes operated by the Ford Motor Company on regular schedule carrying freight between Dearborn, Chicago, Cleveland and Buffalo, during the last two and a half years, have flown a distance equal to approximately twenty - seven times around the woriy. This is shown by the official report of Ford airplane operations up to Sjjpt. 1. At present, the report shows, the Ford Motor Company is operating three separate air freight lines. The first, between Dearborn and Chicago, was instituted April 13, 1925. The second, between Dearborn and Cleveland, began operation July 1, 1925, and the third, between Dearborn and Buffalo, was added March 28, 1927. Operate Dally All three lines have been operating on dally round-trip schedules, except Sundays and holidays, since they were inaugurated. The three lines have completed 3,588 trips, over a distance of 670,297 mile, in 7,528 hours and 45 minutes of flying time. In all the operations only ninety forced landings have been made, each of which was made successfully on t. suitable field. Os these, fifty-four were caused by severe weather disturbances and thirty-six were due to mechanical troubles. Only one fatal accident, resulting in the death of a pilot, has occurred in the operation of these airways since they were inaugurated and this accident was attributed to one of the severest storms oi% record in the territory through which the ship was flying. Bu Times Special WASHINGTON, Sept. 23.—Maps, diagrams, statistics and information of all sorts relative to Muscle Shoals take up practically all the available space in one of the largest assembly rooms in the Senate office building. The exhibit was erected by the Army engineers for the purpose of giving congressmen a thorough knowledge of the situation at Muscle Shoals. The maps show the location of the government dams, nitrate plans, and power sites at that point and at other points along the Tennessee river and Cumberland river. Many congressmen have made a study of the exhibit during the summer months, particularly members of the Senate Agricultural committee and the House Military Affairs committee, which are- handling this subject for their respective bodies.
