Broadcasting direct from Broadway, five stations will carry the first act cf “Peggy Ann” to listeners, from the stage of the Vanderbilt theater. An arrangement with P. Lorillard Company, the play management and the National Broadcasting Company makes this possible. The agreement calls for sixteen uch presentations, to be on the air lat 6:45 each Saturday evening. Graham McNamme, N. B. C. staff announcer, and Phillips Carlin, WEAF manager, will alternate, as announcers for this series. / This program, to be known as “Old Gold on Broadway,” will be transmitted by these Red network stations: WEAF, New York; WEEI, Boston; WTIC, Hartford; WGY, Schenectady, and WEBH, Chicago. The Philadelphia Storage Battery Company, sponsors of the Philco radio hour, has completed arrangements for the broadcasting of its program through twenty-five stations, and contemplates the addition of five others. This will begin Sept. 16. Eighteen Blue chain stations will carry the Philco entertainment from 7 to 8 p. m., while the same nights from li to. midnight a similar program will go on the air from the seven Pacific coast network stations. The Crosley Moscow Art Orchestra, which was heard on alternate Sundays for a few months over the Red network, resumes radiocasting at 3:30 Sunday afternoon. At first its microphone appearances will be bi-weekly, but it

Besides WEAF, New York, and WLW, Cincinnati, the orchestra’s home, twenty-three other stations are scheduled to flash this program. For the first time a cello program will be the feature of an Atwater Kent program Sunday evening. Marie RosanofT, who is well known in the East for her ensemble work, is the artist.
