CHEAP CAR RUNS FAR Boys Make 20,000 Mile Trip in Old, Automobile Bu United Prctg RACINE, Wis., Aug. 23.—Early in e summer four Racine boys bought car, paying $3.75 each for his respective share and started out to tour the country. Today the boys, William Young, Phillip Mario;w, Leo Goeb and Paul Rudin, are back home after visiting 822 cities and covering approximately 20,000 miles. The log of their tour is printed on the sides and back of their car. Montreal was the farthest north the boys went and Tia Juana, Mexico, was the southernmost point. Savage, national legion commander, will place half the wreath on the tomb of America’s Unknown Soldier. The other half will be placed above France’s Unknown Soldier In Paris. The wreath is now at national Legion headquarters here.

Simpson, a British scientist, has left here with the Intention of making his home on an Iceberg for three months. He was accompanied by a dog. “My purpose,” said Simpson, “s to gather material for a book on the ice fields. I expect to be very comfortable In my abode on some drifting iceberg. I shall erect a fur lined tent and I will warm it with an oil stove.
