BORER AREA SPREADS Wells County is Added to State Quarantine Belt Despite a year’s battling under the leadership of State Entomologist Frank Wallace, the Indiana European corn-borer infested area continues to expand. Thursday anew county was added to the quarantine belt, with the announcement of discovery of the pest In Jefferson township, Wells County. Other new townships reported were Wabash and Jefferson in Adams County and Newberry in Lagrange County. There are now seventy-two townships in eight counties infested, Wallace declared.
