SPURN PRISON > FAREJTH DAY Sacco and Vanzetti Continue Hunger-Strike. By United Press BOSTON, July 21.—The fifth day of their hunger strike today found Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti still refusing nourishment. When guards revoked the breakfast trays from the condemned men’s widely separated cells at Charleston State prison, neither had touched a morsel. Only water has passed Sacco’s lips since the beginning of the joint fast early last Sunday, and Vanzetti has abstained from all nourishment except coffee and tea, which he took in small quantities during the first part of the hunger strike. Warden William Hendry’s office reported no change in the physical condition of the two men, who were said to be in. comparatively good health.

LONDON SEEKS NAVYPACTKEY British Delegates at Home } for Conference. By United Press LONDON, July 21.—The center of the naval armaments conference shifted to London today. W. C. Bridgman, first lord of the admiralty, and Lord Cecil, both of whom returneed from Geneva late yester-' day, arranged for conferences with the cabinet and with naval experts at the admiralty. In government circles it was reported that Bridgeman, head of the British delegation at the arms conference, would lay proposals before the government said to constitute the basis of an agreement reached among the three powers at the conference earlier in the week. It was explained that the presence of the British delegation in London is the result of its desire to discuss the situation with the government more fully than could have been done by written or telegraphic communication. It was believed that the Japanese and American delegations would have done the same had they been as close to their governments geographically as the British.
