The fleet will operate under direction of the State conservation department. Developments in the construction of the War Memorial Plaza will be outlined Friday noon at the open forum meeting in the main dining room at the Chamber of Commerce by Samuel A. Patrolmen Neal and Wallace saw a light late Tuesday night in the home of Paul H. De Hoff of 940 S. West St. The officers said they found several persons and approximately one hundred quarts of home brew beer. De Hoff was charged with operating a blind tiger. The others were not arrested. Albert Farrell, 1559 Central Ave., reported to police today that an empty house at 1650 College Ave., was looted of electrical fixtures valued at SSO. The Indiana Bell Telephone Company reported a tool wagon parked at Michigan St. and Woodruff Dr. looted. Mrs. Minnie S. Berner, who died June 8, bequeathed $3,500 to local welfare organizations it was announced today. SAVES BROTHER FROM SUFFOCATION IN DITCH New Bethel Man Hurt Seriously by Sudden Cave-In. The life of George W. Pierson, 38, New Bethel, Ind., was saved today when his brother William, also of New Bethel, dug him out of a six-foot ditch which had caved in on him at Twenty-Third St. and Bosart Ave. George Pierson was taken to city I hospital with a broken collar bone and two broken ribs. Doctors said a lung may have been punemtured by one of the broken ribs. Westinghouse Official Dies Bu United Press NEW YORK, June 14.—Gen. Guy Eastman Tripp, 53, board chairman of the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company, died at New York Hospital Tuesday evening.
