Ancient Customs That the Egyptian father might not be lonely in his long journey to the Land of the Sun. his living child was placed with him in the tomb, while the mother looked on, happy in the belief that thus she honored the memory of her husband. Christianity has put an end to such barbarous practices; yet today in many Christian homes the child's future is sacrificed to unnecessary extravagance. A service that conforms with the ordinary living stand ards of the family, meets every requirement of good taste and good judgment. It is not necessary to sacrifice beauty to economy; the same quiet dignity characterizes our service whether the cost be small or great. There is no additional charge for our beautiful service room, organ or guest suite. FLANNER & BUCHANAN Mortuary WEST FALL CREEK DRIVE AT MERIDIAN RA ndolph 4400-4401-4402
