Indianapolis are strongly indorsing Konjola in cases of stomach, liver, kidney and bowel disorders or •umatic troubles. ust a few days ago, Mr. Dennis A. Murphy, well-known Indianapolis citizen, living-at 915 Indiana Ave., this city, made the following statement in a signed report which he gave to the Konjola Man at Hook’s Drug Store, Pennsylvania and Market Sts., who is meeting the public daily arid explaining this I medicine. "I had kidney trouble for several years,” said Mr, Murphy,’\and I was never able to find anything to help me, so in recent years the kidney trouble brought on rheumatism. My knees and ankles were swollen and my back was sore' and achy at all times. I was told that my kidneys had poisoned my whole system. This led to rheumatism and the pains were getting worse all the time. Finally I was taken down in bed and for six weeks I could barely move myself. The pains were sharp and terrific. “I had been hearing about Ivonjola and so I sent for this medicine. It seemed to drive all kinds of poisons from my system and improved my kidneys the first week. I was able to get out of bed and my rheumatism was beginning to ease up. 1 kept right on with Konjola and now I am able to go down town. The pains in my back are gone, and my kidneys never give me any trouble. 1 also notice that I am free of indigestion and stomach trouble. My ap'petitd is increased. ‘‘l think Konjola is a wonderful ' medicine to bring all this relief and indorse it.” Konjola Man is at Hook's Drug Store, Pennsylvania and Market Sts., Indianapolis, where he is Jaily meeting the local public and introducing and explaining the merits of this remedy. Shelton, who opened the addition a year ago this month, is very optimistic over reception of the homesites by persons desiring to "invest in Indianapolis.” He has completed a nufnber of splendid modern homes In the addition. Woman-Planned Home

By Nora Kay. The beauty-loving, home-planning instinct that seems to be a gift with some women has been turned to very practical use by Mrs. Effie Morgan of the Schoen-Morgan Company, in planning and building such houses as that at 6878 Washington Blvd. While following the somewhat severely simple lines of the English type house that is now so popular, Mrs. Morgan has introduced warm color, a wealth of windows and a dozen little conveniences that give a house the real home atmosphere. The house is attractively located at the crest of a rolling lawn that lends itself well to landscaping. A flag stone walk leads from the street to the center entrance door, and a graveled drive follows the south edge of the lawn and passes close to a sheltered porch at the south side of the house. This porch, which has double French doors opening onto it from the living room, is thus made to serve as a drive entrance by which one may pass directly into the living room. The other entrance open* into a center hall, with ■ the archway on the south, revealing the long living room and that on the north opening into the dining room. In both of these rooms there are triple casement windows, with panes of leaded glass, that reach from the floor of the room almost to the ceiling and may, if desired, he used as doors, since they open directly onto the east lawn. The dining room has. too, a group of casement windows on the north, while the west wall is broken by the door that opens into the kitchen. In the living room there are. in addition to the group of east wia*dows and the two French doors on the south, three long windows on the west, so that the room is flooded with sunshine from- early mornihg until late afternoon. Both living room and dining room

are finished with canvased walls panelled and shaded from a deep. u> a warm ivory. In the living room a fireplace, with the arched opening outlined in irregularly set brick, fills the space between the two French doors. The kitchen, connected with the dining room by a door on the west, is finished in a cheerful looking cream enamel that seems to reflect sunlight, even when the room is lighted by north windows. There are two of these windows, however, conveniently placed above the sink?-with built-in cabinets at each side of tljem, and additional light enters the rooms from the windows on three sides of the alcove breakfast nook on the west. On the south there is a door opening from the kitchen into a service hallway that. In turn, has doors opening to t.ie rear yard, the living room and the basement. This arrangement is convenient for the maid, as it does away with the necessity of passing through the dining room in order to reach the living room or answer the front door bell. The breakfast alcove, too, is so situated and lighted that it should start the day right for any breakfaster, for there are large casement windows on the south, west and north sides of the little room. Next to breakfasting out of a doors, a morning •teal in this sunny room would seem the best possible substitute. In the bedrooms, too, the feminine touch and the feminine understanding of those small details of homebuilding that every woman appreNail Sam* to /Krr t- ■. \v*\ ** Them w wood Fire Ham. ciates are plainly in evidence. Windows have been placed wherever there was space for a window —that is, where a window did not interfere with the space needed for large pieces of bedroom furniture. Closets are numerous and roomy, and bathroom finish and fittings are planned with an eye to beauty by a woman who knows what every woman wants in a home and has succeeded admirably in offering it to her here.
