NIPPER AGAIN TO HEAD PLAYGROUND Provision Made for Officials at 42 Places. Robert Nipper, Butler College assistant coach, will head the city playground summer staff again this year. On recommendation of Jesse McClure, recreation director, the park board appointed playground supervisors and matrons Thursday. Provision is /nade for forty-two playgrounds. Everitt Milner will direct swimming instructors and life guards. Walter Floyd, Butler athlete, w'll be Nipper’s first assistant. Lola Pfeifer, head supervisor of playground matrons, will have Norma Koster as assistant. Playgrounds and pools will open early in June. The board adopted a resolution for acquisition of anew Broad Ripple playground and recreation center. The site, about three acres, is on the east side of Broadway, between Sixtieth and Sixty-First Sts.
