The matter was taken under advisement. .Tames P. WARDEN AWAITS STEVE SUIT REPLY . , Michigan City Attorney Seeks to Interview Lifer. Bu United Press LA PORTE, Ind., May 10.—Walter H. Daly, warden of the Indiana State Prison, today is awaiting court action on his reply to a suit brought by Robert H. Moore, Michigan City attorney, who seeks a court order admitting himself and a stenographer to interview D. C. Stephenson, life convict at the institution. In his reply to motion filed late yesterday, attorneys for Daly argued that certain parts of the complaint are not germane to the issues, and seeks to have those parts stricken from the complaint. The motion seeks to strike from the petition all references to the alleged “void" trial and conviction cf Stephenson. The original complaint contains charges that the trial, conviction and commitment of Stephenson on a charge of first-degree murder, was void and that the conviction followed jury tampering, witness tampering, and coercion.

Andrews warned against the "red influences who are seeking to make tools of labor organizations, youtli movements and women’s peace societies.,” “If the red influence can break down our defenses by appealing to liberal thought and to woman’s natural desire for peace, it xvould not be long before the red flag would be floating from the flagstaff of the nation's capitol,” he declared.
Politely Refuse substitutes if you sedc the famous Quak.^ THE point to remember when buying breakfast oats is that only Quaker Oats have the rich Quaker flavor that you want. One package of oats without that flavor may spoil your breakfasts for a week. The price you pay is the same. Thus “trying” a substitute is a folly. Quaker flavor is the result of some 50 years milling experience. No other OLts has it Quaker milling, too, retains much of the “bulk” of oats. And that makes laxatives less often needed. Get Quick Quaker, which cooks in 3 to 5 minutes, or regular Quaker Oats as you have always known Your grocer has both kinds. Quick Quaker AMUSEMENTS
