197 BUSINESSES ADDED TO CITY peal Estate, Insurance, Loan Firms Lead Increase. During April 197 new businesses were established in Indianapolis. There were twenty-seven new real estate, loans or insurance flrniS and twenty-six new business buildings here at the end of the month. Other notable increases and their number were: Auto dealers and garages, 15; foreign corporation agencies, 13; grocery and meat markets, 9; clubs, 7; mercantile stores, coal, building and feed supplies, factories, filling stations, hardware and plumbing, restaurant, 6 each; apartment buildings, beauty and barber shops, contractors, department stores, doctors, 5 each. There were four new drug, confectionery or tobacco stores, furniture Stores, tailors and cleaners. Three new cooperative associations and two new bakeries, electrical appliance shops, jewelry stores, and paint shops were listed. One each of following firms were added to the city: Bank, business school, detective agency, employ/nent agency, hotel, legal firm, newspaper, photographer, poultry store and shoe repair shop. Harvard Still Richest CAMBRIDGE, Mass., May 6. Assets of Harvard College, exclusive of land and buildings, are listed at $36,540,000. This makes it the richest educational instiution in the orld. A University of Chicago expert on primintive languages is writing a dictionary of the tongue, called Grebo. He says it is five times as difficult as Chinese.
