Names of City Room Spelling Champs

More Than 600 Children to Compete in Building Bees Under Times Auspices April 27 These youngsters, spelling champions in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades of eighty-one city grammar schools, are preparing tor the building spelling bees Wednesday, April 27, at 8:45 a. m. In the written building bees the number of champions will be reduced from the present list of about (148 grade champions to eighty-one building champions. These winners will compete in the eight zone spelling bees, early in May, the zone winners to compete in the State Spelling Bee, sponsored by The Times/ Grade winners, their schools and principals:
