A.’s ■financial campaign for $208,500 to ereot anew building for the Phyllis Wheatley branch for colored girls and women has been obtained, it was announced today with the report by the general chairmen that $63,225 has been pledged. Dwight S. Ritter and F. B. Ransom, heading the campaign organization which will go into the field May 2 for general public solicitation, are also chairmen of the initial gifts committee engaged in the preliminary campaign. Barge gifts toward the new building, to be erected at West and Walnut Streets are: Anonymous gift from an Interested woman, $16,000; Carl Fisher, i $13,000; Arthur C. Newby, $10,000; .J.
