AUTO, DIAMOND PIN AND MONEY BANDITS’ LOOT Armed Hold-up Men Escape After Three Quick Robberies. In less than two hours Wednesday night, bandits held up a doctor, a car owner and a filling station attendant. The loot consisted of a diamond stick pin, money and anew auto. Police have no trace of the robbers. Henry Ridgely, 1924 N. Talbott Ave., told police he walked out of his home to get in his auto, and as lie reached the sidewalk two men accosted him and commanded, “Get in the car.” One pulled out a gun, pushing it into his side. Ridgely said he sat between the men while one of them drove the auto. At a point between Sixteenth and Seventeenth Sts. on Pierson Ave., the trio got out of the car. After the bandits searched him and took $3.50, they returned a dime to him, Ridgely said, and ordered him to walk soytli. The bandits drove away in his auto, anew Nash, license 574-899. A young well-dressed man drove an auto into the Western Oil station, Fall Greek Blvd. and ThirtyEighth St. Eldo Gratner, 3742 N. Keystone Ave., attendant, walked out to serve him. The man in the auto pulled a gun and said: "I don’t want gas; I want money.” He got out of the auto and pushed the attendant back into the station, where he ordered the contents of the safe and cash register be handed to him. Gratner told police he gave about SSO to the bandit, who ran to his auto and drove west. He was in a car reported stolen from Donald Brewer, 2450 Pierson Ave., police said.
