Breakfast —Grapefruit, juice, salt codfish, bash, spider cornbread, coffee; Luncheon—Eggs piquant, lettuce sandwiches, apple tapioca pudding, milk, tea. Dinner —Bouillon, toasted wafers, creamed finnan haddie, steamed rice, spiced figs, buttered green beans, graham rolls, fresh pineapple with mock angel food cake, milk, coffee. If small children must be served breakfast, a cereal should be added to the menu. The average adult, however will find the meal suggested much to his liking. Eggs Piquant Jfci’our hard-cooked •-eggs, D onion, WP*ablespoons butter, Vs cup cream, 3eggs, 2 tablespoons minced parsley, fi teaspoon salt, Vi teaspoon pepper. U cup fine toasted bread crumbs, Vs lemon. Melt butter, add onion peeled and cut in thin slices and cook until onion Is yellow. Cut eggs In halves lengthwise and add with cream to onion. Beat eggs until very light and mix with crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper and juice of lemon. Pour this mixture over eggs in sauce pan, cover pan and cook over a low tire until eggs are set, about ten minutes. Turn into a hot serving disli, garnish with parsley and serve at once. Clyde Hoffman, zoning hoard attorney. In view of this the board refused to take action until its next meeting. 0. K. SCHOOL REPAIRS School Board in Special Session Considers New Building. A special meeting of the school board was held Thursday to consider anew building for school 8-1 and repair work to other schools in the city. Engineering repairs to schools 8, 60 find 10 were authorized. vessel, which sank in ten minutes eight miles southeast of here after collision with the British ship Author. The Captain and six members of the crew of the Spanish vessel were saved. A British destroyer today was searching for the missing men. In one consignment, an English firm recently received an order for 17,000 canaries for the United States.
