SCHOOL ACTORS COMPETE* ONHCT PLAYS Seventy High School Pupils in First Annual Tourney of Little Theatre. The first annual Little Theatre Society one-act play tournament brought seventy high school students and directors from all parts of the State to the Playhouse at Nineteenth and Alabama Sts. to present their plays this afternoon and evening. The Shortridge High School Junior Drama League will present "The Trysting Place,” by Booth Tarkington, under the direction of Miss Reta Clark and Miss Flora Love. The cast includes Audrey Pugh, Allen Helt, Ava Louise Reddick, Gwendolyn Schort, Tom Butz, Howard Robertson and Ebner Blatt. Wiley High School of Terre Haute sends "'The Dream Maker,” by Blanche Jennings, under the direction of Miss Winefred M. Ray. The cast: Justine gilverstein, Virginia Grimes, Charlie Shepherd, Pauline Duffy, Erwin Rosenack, Dorothy Bronnenkaut, Betty Berkowitz, Mary Helen Bop, Sarah Jane Marbach, Margaret English, Lucille Shower and Martha Ford. Bloomington High School is represented by “The Patchwork Quilt,” by Rachel Lyman Field, directed by Mrs. Laura G. Childs.
