Police today sought a Negro believed to have marks on his face as the result of a fight with Herbert Jones, city fireman, 1938 Arrow Ave., who found him on the uprch of his home at 4:15 a. m. today. Jones said he left engine house No. 2 at 4 a. m. and wont home. As he neared the house he saw a Negro at the front door. JciTies said he watched the man trying to open the front door and then suddenly leaped on his back. In the struggle he struck the Negro several times, hut the prowled escaped.
