The need for increased appropriations to carry on its building program throughout the State, was stressed in a statement today by the Armory board of the Indiana National Guard. The board pointed out that the average appropriation for the country is S9O per guard member, but that in Indiana the average is $54. The difference in these figures is brought about by inadequate housing ! facilities for the guard, the Armory board maintains. “The State pays’' approximately SIOO,OOO annually for rental of armories unsuited to the purpose,” the statement leads. “The board proposes a year by building its own armories.” COUNTRY CLUB ELECTS Meridian Hill Group Holds Annual Stockholders’ Meeting.
