MO LIST BILL , PASSES HOUSE Would Check on Cars Not on State Tax Rolls. Members of the Indiana House of passed by a vote 3?f 84 to O a bill authorizing the Secretary of State to print lists of auto •Owners together with their license motor numbers. The two-fold purpose of the bill is *to proyide identification of stolen 'tars ahd~a chqck on the large number which are not on the State tax JJ-olis. ' Representative' J. \V. Ebaugh, Re,'publicair, Indianapolis, read statistics Vhieh showed that less than half tihe cars in Indiana are taxed. X Five typical counties, Allen, Elkhart, St. Joseph. Vanderburgh and iJLake, have 137,696 licensed autos. 'Of these 72,338 are not taxed. Marion County was not cited, because figures were not available, -Ebaugh said. HOUSE PASSES MEMORIAL The Indiana House of Representatives Thursday passed a resolution commending the heroic action of Barton Bradley, who lost his life in attempting to rescue a chum from drowning in Fall Creek. The resolution, expressing condolences to Ills family, was introduced by the Marion County representatives.
