CHRISTMAS TREES, HOLLY AT MARKET I Decorations on Sale Give Yuleide Atmosphere. Christmas trees, holly wreaths, red and green bells and roping. The city market today had the real yuletide atmosphere, with all sorts of Christmas decorations on sale. Vermont spruce trees sold at 75 cents to $7 each, depending on the size. Smaller ones for tables sold for 25 to 50 cents. Holly wreaths were from 20 cents to $1.60 each; cedar wreaths, 15 to 75 cents; russet wreaths, $1.60 to $3; rope wreaths. 10 to 50 cents each. Mistletoe was scarce, small bunches selling from 10 cents up. Other sprays sold for 25 cents up. Besides the “red" russets, a green spray of the same type was sold at 25 cents a bunch or $1.25 a pound. Artificial poinsettlas were 10 cents each. Red and green roping sold at 10 cents for four yards, and bells in the same colors were 5 to 25 centa 1 each. The only new food commodity at the market was hothouse watercress, at 20 cents a bunch.
