Otterbein Wards Give Pageant Here Growth of the Otterbein Home for Children and Old People, a welfare institution of the United Bretheren Church near Lebanon, Ohio, was portrayed in pageants given in Indianapolis Sunday by twenty-three children from the home. The children, under the direction of Mr. Aind Mrs. A. ft. Brane, supedintendent and matron, appeared at Indiana Central College and the First U. B. Church in a rally of Indianapolis churches. The rally was part of a campaign for Christmas offerings for the Otterbein home work. The children repeated the pageant at Richmond, Ind., Sunday evening. Band concerts by the children followed the pageants. The Otterbein home formerly was part of the old Shanker settlement. The U. B. church acquired it and 4,005 acres several yehrs ago.
